Long-term management for chronic dry, irritated skin.
Friction/Moisture Rash

Friction, trapped moisture, and lack of airflow in skin folds (under breasts, armpits, groin), leading to yeast or bacterial growth.
Keep skin folds dry, use antiperspirants or barrier creams, and wear moisture-wicking clothing.
Barrier creams (zinc oxide), topical antifungals if yeast is present, and keeping the area dry.
Myth: Only overweight people get intertrigo. Fact: Anyone can get it, especially athletes, babies (diaper rash), or anyone in hot climates.
If the area becomes raw, oozes, or develops a strong odor, indicating a secondary infection.
